Cebgo is a low-cost airline from the Philippines that was established, founded, and commenced operations as SEAir Inc. in 1995. The Philippine airline expanded its services from the Clark-Manila-Subic area and to tourist destinations throughout Luzon and Visayas, and on May 13, 2009, the Congress of the Philippines granted their franchise through Republic Act No. 9517. In 2017, Cebgo merged into Cebu Pacific and is now owned by JG Summit, the parent company of Cebu Pacific.

Since October 2014, Mr. Michael Ivan S. Shau has been President CEO of Cebgo at Cebu Air, Inc. He possesses an Industrial Management Engineering, Minor in Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master’s degree in Business Management, both from De La Salle University.
Shau had held various positions at Cebu Air, Inc., serving as Vice President of People and Administration Services since March 2010 and as Vice President Airport Services and Administration since May 17, 2007.

Cebgo hadn’t been rated highly based on Cebgo reviews online. In Flight-report they are rated with 4.5/10 while on Consumeraffairs they have a 1.⅘ rating out of 5. For the former rating score, the result was average because passengers gave them mostly 5/10 for cabin crew, meal, cabin, and entertainment. Mostly, Cebgo reviews found the customer care and service unsatisfactory.
Nilma of Helsinki wrote, “Services not so good and they ask for ticket for a thousand of pesos. It go 12000 pesos one way ticket but their services was no[t] so good. They said is fully book but asking you there is available but very expensive. The most terrible I’ve experience. Management taking advantage their consumer and that’s not fair.”
